That's because most late model vehicles don't use standard "Motorola" ends on their antenna cable anymore. To get the job done, you need a PAIR of adaptors. One of the adaptors converts the plug on the end of your antenna cable to a standard male Motorola end, which is exactly what the input of your FM Modulator requires. The other adaptor converts the output plug of your FM Modulator, which is a male Motorola end, back to the type of end that your car's radio accepts. You get a snug fit with no loss of signal due to improper or mismatched connections | Perfect when adding an FMDA25 or other FM Modulated device to your stock radio. The first plug converts the Nissan plug on the end of your antenna cable to a standard male motorola end, matching the input on your FM modulator. The second plug converts the standard male motorola output of your FM modulator back to a Nissan plug, which is necessary for returning the antenna signal into the back of your Nissan radio.
